Tu es mon cœur de bœuf is a surreal wink to summer encounters and the gentle absurdity of things unfolding just a little differently than expected.
Painterly sense of wonder
The collection plays with a painterly sense of wonder. Shirts reveal
asymmetrical collars and buttoning, mesh and lace create intriguing see-through layers, volumes shift subtly.
Classic elements are deconstructed and reassembled, without ever losing the ease of wear or the recognizable NV signature.
Tomato, aperitivo and summer encounters
The cœur de bœuf tomato appears in knitwear, alongside aperitivo elements in tomato red and olive green. Sunlit pastels blend with shades of moss green and espresso brown.
The collection fully embraces colour, texture and lightness. Mesh, semi-transparent qualities, openwork ajour and stripes in every imaginable form build a lively, layered summer tableau.
Déjeuner sur l’herbe with a twist
The unisex capsule continues to evolve into a true anchor within the collection and now carries a distinct Black Label signature. The pieces feature a relaxed, oversized fit and a recognizable black label.
The campaign strengthens this sense of fluidity. A castle garden, a painterly déjeuner sur l’herbe, romance with an edge. The man in a playful piece, the woman in a bold silhouette.
Roles blur, images invite you to dream further. Sometimes quite literally. The DREAM slogan is embroidered on caps, sweaters and bags.
In the box, out of the box
The in-the-box campaign shoot creates a trompe-l’œil frame, pushing the surreal play of perspective and illusion even further.
Lace and romance are balanced out by the renewed denim line: an entirely new sand stone washing with surprising cuts and a fluid quality. The bold elements flirt confidently with the softer notes in the collection.
An expanding universe
Nathalie’s universe continues to grow. The Gennaro bag appears in new colours, including a pop of red, finishing every silhouette. Heaven is the latest addition to the footwear line, balancing between a pump and a flat with a subtle kitten heel and an elegant, summery lightness.
For more than 20 years, over half of our collection has been produced by Belgian manufacturers. The remainder is carefully crafted by trusted partners in Portugal, Spain, and Turkey.
We regularly visit our workshops to stay closely involved in the production process and to personally ensure that working conditions meet our high standards.
Photographer Luc Gommers captured all the campaign footage on analog, and videographer Brian van Es also used analog film. They did this out of love for the craft and the purity of the images, avoiding all the digital tools that are so readily available.
